Nominalization in Formal Writing
ಔಪಚಾರಿಕ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಮಪದೀಕರಣ
ಔಪಚಾರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಪದಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಮಪದಗಳಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ — 'we decided' ಬದಲಿಗೆ 'the decision was made' — ಇದು ಬರವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ದೂರ ಮತ್ತು ವಸ್ತುನಿಷ್ಠತೆಯ ಭಾವ ಸೇರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
