German picture-description tasks follow a fixed structure that reuses the impersonal man and the location-vocabulary from the two-way-prepositions lessons, rather than starting with "I see".

Auf dem Bild sieht man eine Familie im Park. (In the picture, you can see a family in the park.)

German picture description has a standard frame: Auf dem Bild sieht man... / Auf dem Foto ist... ('In the picture, one sees...'), using the impersonal man instead of "I see" — this describes what's objectively visible, not your personal perception. Hindi's "तस्वीर में ... दिखता है" works in exactly this same impersonal spirit — starting with this fixed phrase isn't just an option, it's the expected exam technique.

Vordergrund/Hintergrund/Mitte ('foreground/background/middle') combine with im (in dem, dative), since you're describing a static location — following the same wo?-triggers-dative rule from the two-way prepositions lesson.
