meiner Meinung nach: a dative phrase placed after its noun for effect
Meiner Meinung nach ist das falsch.
मेरी राय में, यह गलत है।
Here nach is a dative preposition that unusually follows its noun instead of preceding it (meiner Meinung nach, not nach meiner Meinung, though that order is also possible but less common). When this phrase opens the sentence, it counts as the first element, so the verb comes immediately after it in second position (...nach ist das falsch) — a good way to check you've got the verb-second rule right.
sondern after a negated opinion
Ich denke nicht, dass das stimmt, sondern dass...
मुझे नहीं लगता कि यह सही है, बल्कि...
Just like with double conjunctions, sondern (not aber) is required when you're correcting a negated statement, rather than simply adding a contrasting idea — Hindi's "नहीं...बल्कि" makes this distinction clearly, which English collapses into a single word 'but'.
