Lesson 50.02B2

Economy & Business

अर्थव्यवस्था और व्यवसाय

Formal Hindi business writing favors nominalized phrasing too — कंपनी में तेज़ वृद्धि हुई ('the company saw strong growth') reaches for the noun वृद्धि rather than spelling out a full verb clause, the same instinct behind French's une forte croissance.

Grammar Comparison

व्याकरण तुलना

Business French leans on the nominal register — Hindi business writing shares the habit

French

L'entreprise a connu une forte croissance. (The company saw strong growth)

Hindi

कंपनी में तेज़ वृद्धि हुई।

Economic reporting often prefers a nominalized noun phrase (une forte croissance) over a full clause — the -tion/-ment/-ance patterns from Lesson 42 applied to a business topic. Hindi formal business writing makes the identical move, reaching for वृद्धि ('growth', a noun) rather than a verb-heavy sentence. Keep an eye out for the verb hiding inside each business noun in both languages: croître → croissance in French, बढ़ना → वृद्धि in Hindi.
