All three sit above the everyday mais ('but') in formality, similar to how formal written Malayalam prefers എങ്കിലും or അതേസമയം over the plain spoken പക്ഷേ — the shift in formality is a familiar move even if the exact words don't correspond one to one.

or (no accent — not to be confused with the conjunction ou, meaning 'or,' nor with the noun or meaning 'gold') is a formal logical connector meaning roughly 'now' or 'and yet' — it introduces a new fact that sets up the next step of an argument, classically seen in syllogisms: Tous les hommes sont mortels. Or, Socrate est un homme. Donc... Malayalam doesn't have one dedicated word reserved purely for this argumentative-pivot job; formal Malayalam writing typically just moves to the next sentence, or reaches for എന്നാൽ ('however/now'), a word that itself shifts between meaning 'but' and simply 'then' depending on context — so treating or as its own special-purpose word, unrelated to any everyday meaning, is worth doing deliberately rather than assuming it behaves like a normal connector.

par conséquent and de ce fait both mean 'consequently/as a result' and belong to written/formal register, functioning as upgraded versions of the everyday donc ('so'). Malayalam draws the same line between registers: അതിനാൽ ('therefore') is what you'll read in formal writing and official notices, while everyday speech reaches for അതുകൊണ്ട് ('because of that') instead. Matching connector formality to the rest of your sentence is part of what makes formal French writing sound native rather than translated — and it's a skill Malayalam readers already practice in their own language.
