Describir una imagen
Describir una foto es una tarea clásica de examen oral, y existe un vocabulario fijo para hacerlo. Las expresiones de posición dentro de la imagen son las que hay que memorizar.

'Au premier plan' y 'à l'arrière-plan' organizan la descripción
Au premier plan, on voit un homme. À l'arrière-plan, il y a une maison.
En primer plano se ve a un hombre. Al fondo hay una casa.
La estructura esperada en un examen es ir del primer plano al fondo y luego de izquierda a derecha, usando 'on voit' y 'il y a'. Fíjate en el 'on' impersonal, que corresponde a nuestro 'se ve'. Para aventurar una interpretación sin afirmarla se usan 'il semble que' y 'on dirait que', equivalentes a 'parece que' y 'diría que' — fórmulas que los examinadores esperan oír.
