Konjunktiv II softens disagreement

Using the würde + infinitive construction from Konjunktiv II (learned at B1) turns a blunt disagreement statement (das sehe ich nicht so) into something softer and more polite — much like Hindi's "मैं ऐसा नहीं कहूँगा", which softens "यह गलत है". This is the same hypothetical/distancing job Konjunktiv II always does, here specifically applied to disagreement in a formal register.

Reusing the concessive zwar...aber pattern learned earlier at this level is a standard formal-discussion move: first concede that the other person has a point (zwar richtig), then raise your objection (aber...). This structure shows genuine engagement with the other side's argument, rather than a flat dismissal.
