Verb Conjugation Patterns
क्रिया-रूपांतरण के पैटर्न
Beyond sein and haben, regular German verbs follow a predictable ending pattern across all six persons — Hindi verbs also change by gender and number, so the idea of a distinct form for each person won't feel new.

व्याकरण तुलना
One regular ending pattern for most verbs
machen: ich mache, du machst, er macht, wir machen, ihr macht, sie machen
करना: मैं करता हूँ, तुम करते हो, वह करता है, हम करते हैं, तुम लोग करते हो, वे करते हैं
Hindi verbs change by gender as well as person (करता/करती/करते), so memorizing a distinct ending for each grammatical person will feel natural. German gives all six persons distinct endings (-e, -st, -t, -en, -t, -en), which may look like more to learn, but the pattern is fully regular and applies to almost every German verb without exception.
Vowel-changing verbs: something genuinely new
fahren: ich fahre, du fährst, er fährt (a→ä) / essen: ich esse, du isst, er isst (e→i) / lesen: ich lese, du liest, er liest (e→ie)
चलाना: मैं चलाता हूँ, तुम चलाते हो, वह चलाता है / खाना: मैं खाता हूँ, तुम खाते हो, वह खाता है / पढ़ना: मैं पढ़ता हूँ, तुम पढ़ते हो, वह पढ़ता है
Hindi verbs don't change their core sound by person (only the ending -ता/ती/ते changes), so this German feature is genuinely new. A handful of common, otherwise-regular verbs (fahren, essen, sehen, lesen, nehmen, sprechen, geben, helfen, etc.) change their core vowel only in the du and er/sie/es forms: a→ä, or e→i/ie. No rule predicts which verbs do this — each one's du/er form just has to be memorized separately.
