bei takes the dative for an employer
Ich arbeite bei einer Firma. (I work at a company.)
मैं एक कंपनी में काम करता हूँ।
bei is one of the fixed-dative prepositions learned earlier, and it's the default choice for naming an employer or workplace — easy to forget several lessons later. Hindi's "में" gives no clue about case, so this pairing (bei + dative) has to be actively memorized, not guessed from translation.
arbeiten als + profession, no article
Sie arbeitet als Ärztin. (She works as a doctor.)
वह डॉक्टर के रूप में काम करती है।
When stating a profession after als ('as'), German drops the article entirely — Sie arbeitet als Ärztin, not als eine Ärztin — matching the Ich bin Lehrer pattern ('I am a teacher', no article) seen earlier. Hindi also has no article after "के रूप में" (Hindi never has an article anyway), so this rule should feel completely natural.
