Imperative (Commands)
ஏவல் வினைச்சொற்கள்
German commands change form depending on who you're commanding — du, ihr, or Sie — echoing the same formality split from Lesson 1, now applied to giving instructions instead of asking questions.
Grammar Comparison
இலக்கண ஒப்பீடு
Command form mirrors the du/Sie split, plus a plural-du form
Komm! (du) / Kommt! (ihr) / Kommen Sie! (Sie)
வா! (நீ) / வாங்க! (நீங்கள்)
Tamil already gives you two command forms tied to நீ vs. நீங்கள் (வா vs. வாங்க), matching German's du-command vs. Sie-command split almost exactly. German adds one extra piece Tamil doesn't distinguish this way: a separate ihr-command (Kommt!) for addressing multiple people informally, distinct from both the single-du command and the formal Sie command. Reuse your நீ/நீங்கள் instinct for du and Sie, and treat ihr as the one new slot to learn.
