Tamil marks the doer of a passive action with a single suffix, -ஆல் ('by'), regardless of whether that doer is a person or an impersonal cause. German splits this into two separate prepositions: von for a person or living agent consciously performing the action, and durch for an impersonal cause, force, or means bringing it about. When translating Tamil's -ஆல் into a German passive sentence, pause and ask whether the doer is a person (von) or a force/cause (durch) — Tamil's single marker won't tell you which one to reach for.
