The final C1 skill isn't a new grammar rule — it's knowing when to deploy everything you've learned. German shifts vocabulary, contractions, and word order between formal and colloquial registers roughly as sharply as Telugu shifts between గ్రాంథిక/శిష్ట తెలుగు (formal, literary written Telugu) and the colloquial spoken Telugu of everyday conversation, which drops case endings and contracts words on the fly.

Every lesson so far in this course has mostly taught you formal, grammatically 'complete' German — the equivalent of గ్రాంథిక/శిష్ట తెలుగు, formal written Telugu. Real spoken German contracts pronouns onto verbs (habe es → hab's) and reaches for different vocabulary entirely, exactly the kind of shift you already navigate between writing something formally in Telugu and chatting with a friend: colloquial Telugu drops the neutral verb వెళ్ళు ('go') for the plainer పో ('go', casual) and then contracts the negative past further still, from పోలేదు down to the clipped పోలా in fast everyday speech. The grammar you've built across this course is your గ్రాంథిక-Telugu-equivalent foundation in German; from here, exposure to spoken German — film, conversation, music — is what teaches you its వాడుక భాష counterpart.
