ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಗಾದೆಗಳು ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಜೀವನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ನುಡಿಗಟ್ಟುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದಿಡುತ್ತವೆ — ಕನ್ನಡ ಗಾದೆಗಳ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಂತೆಯೇ, ಆದರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಚಿತ್ರಣಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ.
