c'est + adjectif vs. quel/quelle + nom for exclamations
C'est incroyable ! vs. Quelle bonne idée !
That's incredible! vs. What a good idea!
English exclamations similarly split between 'That's incredible!' (adjective-based) and 'What a good idea!' (noun-based, with 'what a' playing the role of quel/quelle), so the two-pattern logic maps closely onto English. The main new detail: quel/quelle must agree in gender and number with the noun that follows (quel bon film ! but quelle bonne idée !), an agreement step English 'what a' never needs, since 'what a' never changes shape.
