Lesson 24.2A2

More Irregular Comparatives: hoch, nah, viel

మరిన్ని ఒక్కటిమిక్కటమైన తులనాత్మక రూపాలు

Beyond gut and gern, three more everyday adjectives break the regular -er/-sten pattern — small, closed exceptions worth memorizing as a set, since German offers no shortcut to derive them.

Grammar Comparison

వ్యాకరణ పోలిక

Three more irregulars, best memorized as a fixed short list

German

hoch → höher → am höchsten (high) / nah → näher → am nächsten (near) / viel → mehr → am meisten (much)

Telugu

తెలుగులో తులనా పదం (కంటే) మారదు, విశేషణమూ మారదు — ఎలాంటి ఒక్కటిమిక్కటమూ లేదు

Telugu's comparison structure never runs into irregularity at all, since the comparison postposition (కంటే) and the adjective itself both stay completely fixed regardless of which adjective is being compared — so German's handful of irregular comparatives (gut, gern, hoch, nah, viel) has no Telugu parallel to lean on. There's no pattern to derive these from; they're a short, closed list worth memorizing directly, the same way you already memorized gut → besser → am besten.
