Economy & Business
Economic reporting favors nominalized phrasing — a natural place to apply the -tion/-ment/-ance patterns from earlier in this level, and one where English cognates make several new words easy to recognize.

Business French leans on the nominal register
L'entreprise a connu une forte croissance. (The company saw strong growth)
The company saw strong growth.
Economic reporting often prefers a nominalized noun phrase (une forte croissance) over a full clause — a natural place to apply the -tion/-ment/-ance patterns from Lesson 42, just as English business writing favors 'the company's strong growth' over spelling out a full verb clause. Keep an eye out for the verb hiding inside each business noun (croître → croissance, investir → investissement).
